About the Book Chocolate Fever
Henry Green is an ordinary boy with an extraordinary love for chocolate. From chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast to chocolate milk at lunch, Henry's diet consists almost entirely of chocolate. His obsession reaches new heights when he starts developing mysterious spots on his skin.
One day, Henry notices brown spots appearing all over his body. Initially dismissed as freckles, these spots soon multiply, and Henry is diagnosed with a rare condition called "Chocolate Fever." This diagnosis sends Henry on a whirlwind adventure, leading him to flee from school and his home.
During his escapades, Henry meets various characters, including a kind truck driver named Mac and a group of robbers. Each encounter teaches Henry valuable lessons about himself and his obsession with chocolate. By the end of the book, Henry learns to appreciate moderation and the importance of a balanced diet.
