About the Book Corduroy

Corduroy is a beloved children's book that follows the adventures of a teddy bear named Corduroy. Set in a department store, Corduroy lives on a shelf, dreaming of finding a home. One day, a little girl named Lisa spots Corduroy and wants to take him home, but her mother points out that Corduroy is missing a button on his overalls. Determined to fix himself, Corduroy sets off on an adventure within the store after closing time.

Corduroy's mission takes him through the aisles of the department store, where he encounters escalators and various departments. His exploration leads him to a furniture section, where he mistakes a mattress button for his own. Despite his best efforts, Corduroy doesn't find his missing button. However, his adventure is not in vain, as Lisa returns to the store the next day to purchase him with her own money. She sews on a new button and gives Corduroy the home he's always longed for.

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
