About the Book Deathwatch
Deathwatch is set against the harsh backdrop of the Mojave Desert. The story follows Ben, a college student working as a hunting guide, and Madec, a wealthy and unscrupulous businessman. What begins as a routine hunting trip quickly turns into a deadly game of cat and mouse after Madec accidentally shoots an old prospector.
Ben, a character rooted in morality, insists on reporting the incident. However, Madec has other plans. Compelled by fear and self-preservation, Madec decides that the only way to avoid any legal repercussions is to eliminate Ben. Stripped of his clothes, shoes, and supplies, Ben is left to survive in the unforgiving desert with Madec hunting him down. It's a heart-pounding chase where survival instincts are pitted against human cruelty.
