About the Book Diary of a Wimpy Kid

The book kicks off with Greg Heffley starting his middle school year. Greg, our protagonist, documents his daily life in a diary, or as he prefers to call it, a journal. From the mundane to the bizarre, Greg's entries provide a humorous account of his quest for popularity and survival in school.

Greg's main goal is to climb the social ladder at school. He believes being popular will solve all his problems. From awkward interactions with classmates to failed attempts at gaining attention, Greg's misadventures are both relatable and laugh-out-loud funny. His friendship with Rowley Jefferson, who remains blissfully unaware of the social hierarchy, adds another layer of comedy and heart to the story.

Greg's family life is another focal point of the book. His interactions with his parents and brothers, Rodrick and Manny, add depth to his character. Whether it's dealing with Rodrick's pranks or Manny's antics, Greg's home life is just as chaotic and entertaining as his school days.

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
