About the Book Double Dutch

Delia is excellent at Double Dutch but struggles with reading, a challenge she hides from everyone. Her refuge lies in the rhythmic clicking of the jump ropes, where she feels truly free and alive.

Yo-Yo, Delia's best friend, is dealing with her own set of problems. With a father who has mysteriously disappeared, Yo-Yo finds herself caught between hope and despair. The two friends support each other through thick and thin, embodying the true essence of friendship.

Central to the plot is Delia's aspiration to lead her team, the Joy Jumpers, to victory in the state Double Dutch finals. This goal drives the narrative forward, intertwining the lives of several characters, including Randy, another friend facing his own family issues. Their collective journeys reveal their strength, determination, and the power of unity.

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
