About the Book Double Fudge

The Hatchers are back, and this time, the story revolves around Farley Drexel Hatcher, better known as Fudge. The fascination with money begins when Fudge discovers its existence, setting the stage for a hilarious adventure. His obsession leads to all sorts of antics, from creating his own currency to planning a treasure hunt.

Fudge's fascination with money takes a new turn when the Hatcher family decides to visit Washington, D.C. Here, Fudge becomes even more engrossed with the concept of money, especially when he learns about minting and how money is made. His antics continue to escalate, much to the amusement (and sometimes frustration) of his family.

Enter Cousin Howie and his twin daughters, Flora and Fauna, who add another layer of chaos to the story. The interactions between the twins and Fudge are nothing short of comedic gold. The twins' prim and proper demeanor is a stark contrast to Fudge's wild imagination, leading to plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

The story culminates in a series of events that test the family's patience and love for each other. Through all the chaos, Fudge learns valuable lessons about money, relationships, and growing up. The book ends on a high note, leaving readers both satisfied and eager for more adventures with the Hatcher family.
