About the Book Fantastic Mr. Fox
The story revolves around the cunning and resourceful Mr. Fox, who lives underground with his wife and four children. Nearby, three mean-spirited farmers—Boggis, Bunce, and Bean—are determined to catch Mr. Fox, who has been stealing food from their farms to feed his family.
These three farmers are fed up with losing their livestock and produce to Mr. Fox. They devise a plan to capture and kill him, but Mr. Fox outsmarts them at every turn.
The farmers decide to dig up Mr. Fox's burrow, but the fox family digs deeper into the ground to escape. The battle of wits and perseverance results in an epic underground chase. Eventually, Mr. Fox comes up with a clever plan to outsmart the farmers once and for all.
Mr. Fox tunnels into the farmers' storehouses and brings back enough food to feed all the animals in the area. They create a new underground community, safe from the farmers' reach. The story ends on a high note, celebrating Mr. Fox's ingenuity and the sense of unity among the animals.
