About the Book Flush

Flush transports readers to the beautiful yet endangered waterways of Florida. The story begins with Noah Underwood, a young boy whose father, Paine Underwood, is arrested for sinking a casino boat named the Coral Queen. Paine believes the boat's owner, Dusty Muleman, is dumping raw sewage into the ocean, causing environmental harm.

Noah sets out to prove his father’s accusations true. With the help of his sister Abbey, their friend Shelly, and the mysterious Lice Peeking, Noah dives deep into the mystery. Their mission is not only to clear Paine's name but also to expose Dusty Muleman's illegal activities.

As the plot thickens, Noah and his allies come up with a daring plan to catch Muleman red-handed. The climax is as thrilling as it is satisfying, with justice served and the environment momentarily safeguarded. Hiaasen ties up the story neatly, leaving readers both relieved and reflective.

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
