About the Book Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday tells the story of Annabel Andrews, a typical teenage girl who wakes up one Friday morning to find herself in the body of her mother. The sudden switch throws Annabel into a whirlwind of adult responsibilities and challenges she never imagined.

Throughout the day, Annabel struggles to balance her mother's tasks, from managing household chores to dealing with her younger brother, Ben. She quickly learns that adult life is far more complex and demanding than she had previously thought. This part of the story provides plenty of opportunities for students to discuss empathy and the importance of understanding others' perspectives.

By the end of the day, Annabel gains a newfound appreciation for her mother's efforts and responsibilities. The magical switch reverses, and both Annabel and her mother are left with valuable insights into each other's lives. This resolution invites students to reflect on their relationships with their own family members and the importance of mutual respect and understanding.

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
