About the Book Fudge A Mania

The story begins with Peter Hatcher's family planning a summer vacation. Peter is less than thrilled when he learns that they will be sharing a house with the Tubmans, including Sheila, a girl he considers his arch-nemesis. The prospect of spending an entire summer with someone he can't stand makes Peter dread the vacation.

Peter's younger brother, Fudge, is a five-year-old whirlwind of chaos and curiosity. Throughout the vacation, Fudge's antics create a series of hilarious and unpredictable situations. From announcing that he plans to marry Sheila to trying to sell his sister, Tootsie, to a passerby, Fudge's behavior is both exasperating and endearing.

Despite the initial tensions, the summer brings unexpected friendships and valuable lessons. Peter and Sheila, forced to spend time together, gradually realize they have more in common than they thought. Through their shared experiences, they learn about acceptance, tolerance, and the importance of family.

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
