About the Book Gentlehands

Buddy Boyle is a teenager from a working-class family who becomes romantically involved with Skye Pennington, a girl from an affluent background. The novel's title, "Gentlehands," refers to Buddy's grandfather, a seemingly charming and cultured man living in a grand estate on the affluent North Shore of Long Island.

However, as Buddy spends more time with his grandfather, he uncovers a disturbing secret. His grandfather, known as "Gentlehands," is revealed to have a dark past as a Nazi war criminal. This shocking truth shakes Buddy to his core, forcing him to struggle with the complexities of love, identity, and morality. The story reaches a climax as Buddy faces the harsh realities of his family's history and the societal divisions that separate him from Skye.

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
