About the Book Henry Huggins

Henry Huggins is an ordinary boy living an uneventful life until one fateful day when everything changes. On his way home from school, he encounters a stray dog at the corner of Klickitat Street. This chance meeting marks the beginning of a series of delightful events that turn Henry's world upside down.

Henry names the dog Ribsy, and the pair quickly become inseparable. The book follows their escapades, from trying to bring Ribsy home on a bus to dealing with the challenges of keeping a pet. Their bond is heartwarming and highlights the joys and responsibilities of pet ownership.

Throughout the story, Henry finds himself in various situations that require quick thinking and courage. Whether it's finding a way to keep Ribsy safe or participating in a neighborhood pet show, Henry's adventures are a testament to the everyday heroics that make childhood memorable.

Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
