About the Book Homer Price
Homer Price is a collection of six short stories. Each one focuses on the clever and resourceful Homer, who finds himself in humorous and sometimes absurd situations. From solving mysteries to helping his uncle at the local diner, Homer's ingenuity shines through.
In the first story, "The Case of the Sensational Scent," Homer helps his friend solve a mystery involving a missing bracelet and a skunk. This sets the tone for the book, establishing Homer as a character who can think on his feet.
Another memorable tale is "The Doughnuts," where Homer's Uncle Ulysses' automated doughnut machine goes haywire, producing thousands of doughnuts. Homer takes charge, finding a practical solution and turning a potential disaster into an opportunity.
