About the Book Shane
Shane by Jack Schaefer is a classic Western novel set in the late 19th century. The story is narrated by young Bob Starrett, who recounts the arrival of a mysterious gunslinger named Shane in their small Wyoming valley. Shane’s skills and bravery are put to the test as he stands up to Fletcher’s men, ultimately protecting the Starretts and their way of life. The novel explores themes of honor, justice, and the struggle for survival in the untamed frontier.
