About the Book So B. It

So B. It by Sarah Weeks is a touching middle-grade novel that follows the journey of twelve-year-old Heidi as she seeks to uncover the truth about her mysterious past. Raised by her mentally disabled mother, who can only speak 23 words, and their agoraphobic neighbor Bernadette, Heidi knows little about her origins. Her mother’s limited vocabulary includes the enigmatic word “soof,” which becomes a central clue in Heidi’s quest.

When Heidi discovers an old roll of film, she is inspired to embark on a journey from Reno, Nevada, to Liberty, New York, to find answers about her family. Along the way, she encounters various challenges and meets new people who help her piece together her history. The novel explores themes of identity, family, and the resilience of the human spirit.

Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
