About the Book Strega Nona

Strega Nona hires a young man named Big Anthony to help with chores, warning him never to touch the pasta pot. However, Big Anthony, curious and eager to impress the townsfolk, uses the pot while Strega Nona is away. He successfully makes the pasta but doesn’t know how to stop it, leading to a comical disaster as the village is nearly flooded with pasta.

Strega Nona returns just in time to save the day by stopping the pot with her magic. As a fitting punishment, she makes Big Anthony eat all the pasta he created. The story is a delightful mix of humor, magic, and a gentle lesson about listening and following instructions.
