About the Book The Courage of Sarah Noble

The story begins in 1707 with the eight-year-old Sarah Noble embarking on a perilous journey with her father. They are heading to the Connecticut wilderness to build a new home. This historical setting provides a vivid backdrop for the tale, capturing the challenges and uncertainties of early American frontier life.

Sarah’s adventure is filled with trials and tribulations. From dealing with the harshness of the wilderness to facing her fears, Sarah's courage is tested at every turn. The author masterfully portrays her inner strength as she adjusts to living in a one-room cabin and befriends the local Native American tribe, the Schaghticoke.

In addition to Sarah, the story features a cast of memorable characters, including her father John Noble, who is both a guiding figure and an anchor of safety for Sarah. The Native American friends she makes, especially a girl named Tall John, play pivotal roles in her growth and understanding of bravery and friendship.

Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
