About the Book The Midnight Fox

The Midnight Fox by Betsy Byars is a touching story about a young boy named Tom who is reluctantly sent to spend the summer on his Aunt Millie’s farm. Initially dreading the experience, Tom’s perspective changes when he discovers a mysterious black fox, which he names the Midnight Fox. This rare and beautiful creature captivates Tom, leading him to spend hours observing her in the wild.

As Tom becomes more connected to the fox, he also starts to appreciate the farm and its surroundings. However, when the fox and her cub are threatened, Tom faces a moral dilemma that tests his courage and compassion. Through his journey, Tom learns valuable lessons about nature, responsibility, and self-discovery.

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
