About the Book Thunder Cave

A family reunion turns into the adventure of a lifetime when Jake Lansa travels to Kenya to find his father, a field biologist tracking elephant herds. But finding a man in a country thrown into chaos by drought and illness is no easy task, and Jake has minimal supplies and only a mountain bike for transportation. To reach his father, Jake will have to ride through miles of treacherous terrain and face dehydration, grassland fires, wild lions, and ruthless elephant poachers out to kill the very elephants that Jake's father hoped to protect.

All alone, Jake worries that he'll never make it to safety, until he meets Supeet, a Masai with a quest of his own--to bring the rains and end the drought devastating his country.

Can Jake and Supeet work together to find Jake's father, end the drought, and save the great elephants from extinction?

This Page Is Under Construction

It takes a long time to gather all the data for our new book page format with more useful descriptions, themes, and activity ideas. Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
