About the Book Z For Zachariah

Z for Zachariah is a post-apocalyptic novel by Robert C. O’Brien that follows the story of Ann Burden, a teenage girl who believes she is the last survivor of a nuclear war.

The narrative unfolds in a valley untouched by the holocaust, where Ann has lived all her life. After surviving alone for a year, her life changes when Mr. Loomis, a man in a radiation-proof suit, enters the valley.

The book delves into themes of survival, isolation, and the moral complexities of human relationships in a desolate world. Ann’s initial wariness of Mr. Loomis turns into a struggle for control as he becomes more tyrannical, making Ann question whether life with another person is better than being alone.

The novel is a gripping tale of resilience and the psychological impact of extreme isolation.

Meanwhile, this page is active so you can order books; it just isn't quite as informative or graphically appealing as the new page will be. Thanks for understanding! :-)
